SaZa Professional Chef Demonstration
Private cooking demonstration by renowned chef, Joe DiMaggio, Jr.! Joe developed his fascination with Italian food and cooking at age 9, working in the kitchen of his family’s hotel restaurant in Bologna, Italy. His professional training includes instruction with master chef and Michelin Star recipient Jacque Maximan at the Hotel Negresco in Nice, France. He also has studied in Austria, Belgium and Japan. In 1995, he opened his first restaurant, and has since received many accolades for his culinary skill. He has served as personal chef for bands U2 and The Rolling Stones. He has been hailed as a visionary in his theme, concept and design. His newest entry into the culinary landscape is SaZa Italian Restaurant in Montgomery’s new downtown entertainment district at Alley Station.
The menu for the cooking demonstration is:
- Apple Chive & Manchego Salad with Maple Vinaigrette
- Pizza Firenza, with Goat Cheese, Caramelized Onion & Roasted Grape Tomato’s
- Hand Rolled Manicotti with Four Cheeses & Simple Marinara
- Chocolate Almond Pate with Mint Syrup
For this event, we will take you on a guided walk to the new SaZa Italian Restaurant in Alley Station, leaving the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at 11:15 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. demonstration and luncheon. Sign up today, space is limited.
